Courses are run on Saturdays, and bookings are to made in advance.

Normally they are scheduled for;
Exposing are morning sessions from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and
Printing in the afternoon sessions from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
However if you are scheduled for the full day we tend to run over time until about 6:00 pm

Maximum capacity: 3 people, this it to ensure that you receive the personal attention that you would expect.
In most cases we will work with *your own artwork, and as we will demonstrate the technique first you will be doing the work yourself. We want you to be confident with doing it when you are by yourself.
Except for the 4 Colour Printing - Line and Process Workshop. The artwork is predetermined

This workshop is designed to give you all of the information you need in order to expose your screens in the sun, and without having to buy any expensive equipment.
It is suitable for people who have never coated a screen and we explain everything in layman’s terms.
With a leisurely pace and a maximum of three (3) people per session you will receive individual attention to ensure that you are confident enough to start exposing you screens at home right away.

Outline:
Prepare the Screen for emulsion.
Talk about hand cut paper stencils and vinyl stencils.
Coat screen with emulsion.
Talk about positives; hand drawn and printed from your ink jet printer.
Expose the screen in the sun using one paper positive & one film positive.
Discussion about underexposure; the strong side of the stencil and the middle ground.

Held on: Saturdays and additionally on Thursdays in peak times
Cost: $135.00,
A prepaid deposit of $80.00 per person is required in order to secure you place.
The deposit is not refundable if you cancel within seven (7) days of the booking. Why? We start preparing the materials that are to be used, i.e. screens and positives, up to seven days before the booking and we are not able to fill the spot within that time frame.
 

This workshop is designed to give you all of the information you need in order to set up to print on your dining room table, and without having to buy any expensive equipment.
It is suitable for people who have never screen printed before and we explain everything in layman’s terms.
With a leisurely pace and a maximum of three (3) people per session you will receive individual attention to ensure that you are familiar with different printing set ups and techniques.

Outline:
Set up to print on your dining room table for repeat length printing.
Set up to print on your dinning room table for placement printing.
Printing techniques; including squeegee angle and blend printing.
Textile printing Vs. Paper printing.
* We use your own artwork.
** If you are not doing this workshop as part of a package day you will need to have your own screen with the design already on it.

This workshop will NOT be canceled if less than three people are booked in.

This workshop is designed to give you all of the information you need in order to put the image on your screen and then print. It is the combination of EXP1 COATING & EXPOSING YOUR SCREEN and PNT1 PRINTING ON YOUR DINING ROOM TABLE.
It is suitable for people who have never exposed a screen or printed before and we explain everything in layman’s terms.
With a leisurely pace and a maximum of three (3) people per session you will receive individual attention to ensure that you are able to walk away with all of the information you need to get started.

All components from EXP1 COATING & EXPOSING YOUR SCREEN
All components from PNT1 PRINTING ON YOUR DINING ROOM TABLE

This workshop is designed to provide you with information about multiple colour printing.
This workshop is not suitable for people who don’t have printing experience and while we try to explain everything in layman’s term there are technical terms used.
With a leisurely pace and a maximum of three (2) people per session you will receive individual attention to ensure that you are able to walk away with all of the information you need to start planning your masterpiece.

Outline:
4 colour line printing - theory & color set up.
4 colour process printing - theory & colour set up.
4 colour process printing on a T-Shirt carousel.
